Appeal For Access Unlimited
We have all had moments when we have experienced the feeling of exclusion. Imagine living with that feeling whilst dealing with life threatening conditions, neuro-diverse and complex support needs. People living with complex support needs are often excluded from the workplace and often feel undervalued. By providing a platform to showcase skills, by practising inclusion and acceptance, ARTHOUSE Unlimited challenges prejudices that people living with neuro-diverse and complex support needs often experience.
We are campaigning to raise funds for much needed more accessible space and facilities to create a new working environment for the artists. In short, we have outgrown our current high street space and studio.
We intend to:
- create an improved fully-accessible art studio with space for an increase in wheelchair users
- implement an improved recovery space and accessible WCs, as well as
- provide interactive accessible technology for the artists, to encourage further communication and community integration.
This will ensure unlimited access to all areas of the charity for total inclusion across the whole journey of the artists’ creation, from studio to design, marketing and dispatch, through to the shop.
The space we are looking to refurbish can house all our requirements, help us to future-proof the facility, and enable us to offer more placements to more people within the community and surrounding areas. All while empowering the artists we currently support, offering improved independence and purpose. We aim to be THE platform for social change, throughout the nation, now and for the future.
Be part of the journey, help us build a purposeful place of inclusion with unlimited access for all, and donate today.
