Role: Care and Inclusion manager   

Hours: 37.5 (full time)

Location: Godalming

Reports to: CEO

Direct Reports:  Volunteers/Inclusion Officer 

 

Work closely with CEO to consider opportunities and growth for all artists, always considering safeguarding, inclusion, respect, purpose, value, empowerment. 

 

·       Service Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of care services, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. 

 

·       Leadership: Provide strong, compassionate leadership to inclusion officers and volunteers. 

 

·       Artists support Coordination: Ensure artists receive personalised care that promotes their independence and well-being. 

 

·       Staff Development: Lead, mentor, and support inclusion/care team ensuring continuous development and high morale. 

 

·       Compliance: Maintain compliance and relevant regulatory standards, ensuring that all records and procedures meet quality assurance requirements. 

 

·       Liaise with Providers and Guardians regarding interest in placements 

 

·       Manage and co-ordinate care/inclusion training  through working with relevant providers 

 

·       Carry out assessment, manage applications and set up contracts for new client placements 

 

·       Manage communications with care providers and guardians 

 

·       Work closely with Instructor Lead to manage new and current artists placements/timetable alongside Art Instructors to develop best practice for artists at all times 

 

·       Consider ways to offer better access and developmental support for each artist, delivering shop program for artists to develop more social and practical skills working alongside volunteers. 

 

·       Manage and coordinate off site visits when required. 

 

·       Work alongside instructor lead and to manage and ensure all artists work is stored and recorded safely. 

 

·       Manage artists consent to use artworks  

 

·       Work as part of the wider team and be adaptable when required with a can-do approach. 

 

Relevant experience: 

 

Care management, working with people with learning disability, trained in emergency meds and equivalent care 

 

Experience & understanding of health & safety and accessible environment. Progressive thinker to help empower people who require support.
