Sales Executive Role, P/T, 5 days per week, 25 hrs, 9.30-3.00pm

ARTHOUSE Unlimited is a charity that enables adults with disabilities to create artwork in supported studio sessions. Artworks are developed into designer products for sale, showcasing the artists talents and skills whilst generating funds to sustain the charity. Products are sold at both B2C Retail (shop and online) and B2B wholesale (trade and corporate gifting), with a base of around 600+ stockists nationally at present.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sales person with a proven track record in growing small businesses who can help the charity to increase sales, enabling it to expand and evolve offering more opportunity to more people. Primarily focusing on our B2B market, we are interested in candidates who have an understanding of the retail sector (ideally within gifting), are able to identify new sales opportunities, foster existing customer relationships and take ownership of day-to-day sales tasks.
About your experience
The successful candidate will thrive on following leads and enjoy the art of selling, whist being capable of the attention to detail needed to see a sale through to completion. They will be confident, organised and have excellent communication and numerical skills. They will be pro-active and able to work independently, whilst also happy taking direction from the Sales and Operations Director overall.
The person we are looking for will be comfortable working as part of a small team in a small charity and be able to pitch in and cover for colleagues when needed, particularly in B2C sales admin and online despatch at busy times of year. Experience of Excel is essential, and a working knowledge of Shopify, Sage, and/or other sales and inventory systems desirable. Some driving will also be required.
The most suitable candidates are likely to already know of ARTHOUSE Unlimited, have an ethical interest and values that align. This is a pivotal role within a small, passionate, kind and caring team whose ambition is to significantly grow the charity, taking it from strength to strength, bringing joy and driving social change.
The Details
This is a part time role 5 days per week 9.30-3.00pm with half an hour unpaid lunch, It is based in our office in Godalming, with occasional travel including to trade shows (currently c. 2 per year, UK based, potentially more frequent in the future). As part of the team, you will benefit from a healthcare package, pension contributions and 25 holiday days pro rata holiday (plus BH’s). Salary range £22-25k pro rata depending on experience.
