Sowing Instructions

For outdoor grow sow inside – March to June and plant out when seedlings have developed their first true leaves. Sow outside – April to June Sow 15cm deep in 2.5cm drills. Space lines 15cm apart. Plant them 15cm apart – it is a little too close, but when grown like this, the roots will push each other apart to produce a clump of small tender beets. Harvest – May to August.

Your order will be packed with care by a team of staff, volunteers and artists at our charity in Godalming. 

We ship to the UK, including the Channel Islands & the Isle of Man. We also ship to the Republic of Ireland.  Currently we do not ship anywhere else in Europe or Internationally.

Original Artworks are exempt from Standard and Express Delivery costs below. All Original Artworks will have a £12.00 flat fee applied at checkout. The customer will be contacted if the cost is more, dependent on weight and destination, and the difference will be charged prior to despatch.

The colourful artwork for the Seeds packets arose from a project in the studio focusing on growing vegetables. The artists chose to paint or draw vegetables and fruit that they enjoyed to eat and came up with quotes about planting which are shown on the back of the packets.
