Become a Volunteer

Could you be the friendly face who helps an artist build confidence, independence, and retail skills?

We're looking for volunteers to join our amazing team as an Artists' Buddy, supporting learning-disabled and neurodiverse artists in our vibrant Godalming shop..

As an Artists' Buddy, you'll help artists develop practical retail skills such as:

•    Welcoming customers

•    Stocking shelves and displays

•    Building confidence in customer service

•    Learning workplace and teamwork skills

•    Developing independence in a real retail environment

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

•    A kind and empathetic nature

•    Positive energy and enthusiasm

•    Patience and a good sense of humour

•    A willingness to learn and grow alongside our artists

No artistic experience is required. Just bring yourself, your compassion, and a willingness to be part of something special.

We're looking for volunteers who can commit to supporting us for at least six months, helping build meaningful relationships and providing consistent support as our artists develop new skills and confidence.

Some days you'll help organise stock. support a customer sale, or you'll be celebrating an artist's achievement. Every day you'll make a genuine difference.

And fair warning: you may leave with a bigger smile than when you arrived!
